It’s above your neck!
Temptations come in many forms bust most often they come from the opposite sex. It use to be that when a woman seen a wedding ring she would back off immediately, not so much anymore. I had a recent experience where a young lady was being very flirtatious and I must admit I was flattered that a pretty young woman found me attractive but I made it a point to mention my wife. She continued beyond my comfort zone and I said out right that my wife wouldn’t find our conversation appropriate. She laughed it off and said what my wife didnt know wouldn’t hurt her. My flattery turned to anger and I explained that wasnt true that integrity meant doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Any infidelity , wether known or not would in fact hurt the marriage. I then ask her point blank if she would want a man who didnt have integrity, she looked me in the eye and said “I just want a good time”. All too often that’s the problem, everyone wants to feel good and to hell with the consequences ! You can’t expect others to have integrity you must be the one to use your head, oh yeah, it’s above your neck!

Good post, well written, hope many men are like you!!
I think most men, after they commit, stick to it but the problem is no one talks about them . Everyone talks about the guys who don’t take their vows serious.

Thank god for people with integrity and ethics. Yeesh. I could only hope that she learned something from you that day…
I doubt it, she wants to live without consequences and that’s just not realistic. I hope it dawns on her before she ruins her life or someone else’s .
